Ritevolt
The RiteVolt project
incorporates a system in which
all equipment contained inside
and outside the Constrictor
Rucksack can be powered by the
batteries within, giving soldiers a reliable source of energy
to power important equipment of
any voltage as well as the
option to use renewable solar
energy to charge or recharge the
batteries contained.
Using simple fabric casing to
create cable routes the power
can reach any part of the
rucksack (including straps)
making it possible to supply
power to the radios contained in
the front pouch. It can also
provide a power source to the
equipment contained within the
soldier's Pattern 90 Webbing
with a quick release mechanism.
Additional equipment can be
connected to the system using an
interconnecting cable but in
time this will be achieved using
a contactless connection.
